What's the biggest contribution of Steve Jobs to our society?

Steven Paul "Steve" Jobs (February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011)[5] was an American computer entrepreneur and innovator. He was co-founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of Apple Inc.[6] Jobs also previously served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios; he became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, following the acquisition of Pixar by Disney.

I don't know if I could choose a single biggest contribution, but there's a great article about his life and legacy in the New Yorker here: http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2011/11/14/111114fa_fact_gladwell?currentPage=all

Stephen Gary "Woz" Wozniak is an American computer engineer and programmer who founded Apple Computer. Jonathan Ive is the designer of all successful Apple products. Apple Computer first software was given to them by Bill Gates. George Lucas is the founder of Pixar and sold it to Steven Jobs. Having in mind the points above, we can say that Steven Jobs was a bussiness and marketing genius, with an instinct of trend. Of course, the foundation of Apple Computers gave us something else: the option of choosing Mac over PC. The world wide growth of Apple led to more job opportunities. That's all he left to our society. No charity, no peace, no fight against hunger, nothing else.
